our style
hi. how's it going? if you haven't already noticed, we do things a little differently here at everydaychild photography (e.c.p. for short).
oh, excuse me, i'm forgetting my manners. my name is keilah (pronounced like kyla). that's me over on the left - cute huh?
k-e-i-l-a-h, i know it's not your average ordinary spelling, but my mom and dad have never been accused of doing things just like everyone else. they're not weirdly out-of-the-ordinary or anything, just tend to think outside-of-the-box more than some. especially my dad. i guess that comes with being the creative type.
personally, i think this whole thing is pretty cool. i mean it's hard to find a photographer in the area who shoots kids like my dad does. not that other photographers are so bad, it just gets hard for us kids sometimes. ya know, sitting still, trying to smile the right way, not fidgeting... that sort of thing.
we kids love to move around, play, investigate and make funny faces. we're kids, it's what we do.
that's what's so cool about e.c.p. my dad likes to let kids be... well...uhmm, kids. most kids i know, really do prefer it that way.
i don't get it, but some grown-ups don't like our approach. they prefer the other photographers. "that's ok," my dad says. "it's not for everyone. we're here for the people who do like our way of doing things."
