EverydayChild is considering people for the following opportunities:
Photographer
Introduction
Do you love kids? Do you have in interest in photography? Do you enjoy our photographic style? Are you great with people? Then we might like to hear from you.
Qualifications/Experience
Are you honest, reliable, hard-working and punctual? Do you have an eye for candid photography? At EverydayChild Photography, character and integrity are more important than years of photographic experience. We will train the right person if necessary (actually, we may prefer it to "un-training" and retraining someone with an extensive background with traditional portraiture).
Anyone interested must be a self-motivated "people person" (especially with children), willing & able to work on his/her own (unsupervised after training) in a professional manner and have at least a basic level of photographic training/experience, as well as, his/her own professional equipment including a minimum of:
Primary ResponsibilitiesDelivering all original image files either in person or by high-speed internet upload
Additional responsibilities/interests are negotiable

Intern
Introduction

Primary Responsibilities
This internship is intended for those who are interested in a great learning experience, college credit (as applicable) and/or a "foot-in-the-door" in the photography industry. The internship is generally unpaid with opportunities for paid freelance work possible. In a nutshell, responsibilities would include anything and everything as needed.

- One digital SLR camera (6 megapixel or better)
- One flash unit (hot shoe mount) with Omni-Bounce or comparable diffuser
- One wide-angle zoom lens - 17mm or wider, f2.8 preferred but not essential
- One telephoto zoom lens - up to 200mm or better, f2.8 preferred but not essential
- One additional mid-range lens recommended
- Camera bag/case
- Usual accessories - multiple memory cards, multiple batteries etc.
- High-speed internet access (optional - see "Responsibilities" below)
- Additional equipment may be required as needed
