One of the best things about being a candid Family Photographer is not only experiencing the joy, the laughter, the warmth and sometimes even the hurts associated with daily family life, but also the fact that I get to freeze these tender moments-in-time for family members to treasure forever.
For me, the only thing better than capturing the true personality of an individual, is capturing the true personality of two or more individuals being themselves as they interact with each other.
This is why we are not a traditional Portrait Photography Studio. It's difficult (dare I say, nearly impossible) to get genuine interaction between two people when they are taken out of their usual comfort zone and placed in an unfamiliar portrait studio. Now, surround them with cables, large studio lights and backdrops, point a camera (on a large studio stand) at then and say to them, "Just relax and act naturally."
At EverydayChild Photography, we will make every effort to help you feel right at home beginning with encouraging you to have your session right in your own home or anywhere else you and your family members feel most comfortable.
Rather than thinking of your session as "The Big Photo Shoot," you might think of it, instead, as a usual day in your usual life which happens to be caught on film (digital film, that is). Think of us as your own personal Paparazzi (minus all the negative connotations associated with the Paparazzi, of course).
